Support & Billing Notes (footer / T&Cs reference)

• Support requests via WhatsApp or email
• Support is generally available during normal business hours (Monday–Friday) on a best-effort basis
• One calendar month’s written notice required for cancellation
• Domain renewals are non-refundable once processed
• Domain hosting and management
• Email hosting
• WordPress hosting per domain (where applicable)

Pricing

All prices displayed on the CNAT website are final and not subject to VAT.

Pricing may change from time to time; however, existing clients will be notified in advance of any material pricing changes affecting their services.

Domains

Domain Registration & Renewals

• Domain registrations and renewals are billed according to the applicable domain extension (.com, .co.za, .org.za, etc.).
• Domain renewal invoices are issued when domains become due for renewal.
• It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that domain renewal invoices are paid on time.
• CNAT is not responsible for domain loss due to non-payment.
  
  

Domain Transfer Out

• A domain transfer-out fee of R600 per domain applies.
• Domains will only be released once all outstanding invoices have been settled.
  
  

Domain Redemption

• If a domain expires and enters a redemption period, a redemption fee of R500 per domain applies, in addition to the renewal fee.
• Domain recovery during redemption is subject to registry availability and cannot be guaranteed.
  
  

Email Hosting & Support

• Hosting packages include email hosting and basic email setup.
• Email support includes account setup, configuration assistance, and basic troubleshooting related to hosted email services.
• Support does not include troubleshooting of unrelated third-party software, devices, or internet connectivity issues.
  
  

Backup Services (Optional)

Email Backup

• CNAT offers an optional email backup service to assist with recovery from accidental data loss, such as unintended deletions.
• Email backups are not enabled by default and must be explicitly added to a hosting package.
• Backup retention periods from 1 to 7 days are available, depending on the selected option.
  
  

Restores

• Where an email backup service is active, restores are performed on a reasonable-effort basis using available restore points.
• Restore scope and availability depend on the selected retention period.
  
  

Website Backups

• Website backup services may be available as an optional add-on.
• Due to the nature of websites and content management systems, website restores are generally performed at a site-wide level.
• Website owners and web designers remain responsible for maintaining their own independent website backups.
  
  

Data Recovery

• Recovery of deleted email data is only possible where a CNAT email backup service was active at the time of deletion.
• Data deleted prior to backup activation cannot be recovered.
• CNAT does not guarantee the availability of specific restore points.
  
  

Migration & Setup

• Simple domain transfers are free of charge.
• Where email migration, website migration, or complex DNS changes are required, a once-off migration fee applies.
• Migration fees are quoted upfront based on data size and complexity.
• No hourly billing applies unless explicitly agreed in writing.
  
  

Support Scope & Availability

• Support is provided via email and WhatsApp.
• Support is generally available during normal business hours (Monday to Friday) and is provided on a best-effort basis.
• Limited after-hours or weekend support may be provided at CNAT’s discretion.
• Immediate response is not guaranteed, particularly when technicians are attending on-site client work.
  
  

Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate contact and billing information
• Ensuring timely payment of invoices
• Maintaining independent backups of website content
• Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  
  

Billing, Suspension & Cancellation

• Services are billed monthly or annually as agreed.
• One calendar month’s written notice is required for cancellation.
• No refunds are provided for partial months.
• CNAT reserves the right to suspend services in the event of non-payment.
• Domains already renewed remain payable and non-refundable.
  
  

Limitation of Liability

CNAT is not liable for:

• Data loss where no backup service is active
• Business interruption
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Clients use CNAT services at their own risk.

Changes to Terms

CNAT reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
Continued use of CNAT services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
